FAQs

Is Klal Impact Fellowship a school or a job?

It’s a fellowship – a structured learning and internship program that offers both training and experience, along with a stipend.

Not at all. The program is built to train and support you from the ground up.

The Fall 2026 cohort is open to young women ages 18-25. Future cohorts may be formed for men and women aged 25 and older.

The program does not charge participants a fee.

The internship is unpaid; however, Fellows receive a stipend, paid in monthly disbursements to support their learning.

While Klal Impact Fellowship is not a degree-granting program at this time, participants may receive credits for Klal Impact Fellowship from select institutions.

The goal is for Fellows to secure a full-time position at the internship host organization, though it’s not guaranteed. The knowledge, skills, and dispositions that are developed through Klal Impact Fellowship are transferable within the nonprofit sector and across many fields.
