Klal Impact Fellowship is a 10-month fellowship designed to immerse participants in the nonprofit world while providing structured, high-quality training.
Key Components
Internship
Up to 30 hours/week at a designated nonprofit partner
Professional Development
approximately 10 hours/week of online coursework
In-Person Convenings
3 sessions per year (2-2.5 days each)
Mentorship
Each fellow is paired with a mentor for guidance

Program Foundations
Learning Approach
Coursework is generally project/problem/case-based and collaborative. Fellows apply their learning to their internship settings, deepening understanding and facilitating retention and automaticity.

- Financial foundations and nonprofit reporting
- Fundraising and donor engagement
- Business and grant writing
- Volunteer coordination
- Microsoft Office, data & databases
- Ethics and hashkafa in the workplace
- Marketing to the frum community
- Strategic planning and decision-making
- Governance and leadership skills
